A free, offline-first driving companion that warns about speed cameras, red lights and live traffic incidents in real time — plus fuel prices, maps and turn-by-turn navigation, on the phone and in the car, with no account required.

An autonomous intraday auto-trader you can watch think. It runs a self-governing decide-and-execute loop on the markets, while a strictly read-only console explains every position, fill and risk decision in plain language.

The serving infrastructure behind everything above — zero-downtime deploys, in-process TLS, per-VM hardening and a tier-aware DoS stack. Built so the products stay fast and online without a platform team.

What I do
- Full-stack product engineering
- Web and mobile applications in Rust, Kotlin Multiplatform and TypeScript — responsive front ends through to production APIs, shipped as whole products rather than handed over as tickets.
- Cloud, backend and operation
- Architecting and operating scalable backends and serving infrastructure: zero-downtime deploys, TLS, observability and reliability, owned end to end. If I build it, I keep it running.
- AI inside real products
- Integrating LLMs into products and developer workflows where they earn their place — automation and tooling that hold up in production, not demos.
- Consulting and technical lead
- Working with companies as technical lead and hands-on contributor, turning business needs into software that ships, under Agile. Available for engagements through Optersoft.

1992 – 1993, 1997 – 2000 · studied
Licentiate in Psychology
Five years across cognition, learning, psychobiology and neuropsychology, and developmental, social, clinical and organizational psychology — all of it built on psychometrics, experimental design and data analysis, with elective work in neural networks, computer vision and process simulation.
2000 – 2006 · studied
Computer Engineering
Barcelona School of Informatics (FIB) — UPC
Six years: algorithms and data structures, databases, software engineering, operating systems, architecture and networks, then artificial intelligence and knowledge engineering, compilers, formal languages and graphics. Closed with an end-of-degree engineering project.
2007 – now · both channels
Software Engineer
Nineteen years shipping production software end to end: architecture, code, cloud and operation. Web and mobile in Rust, Kotlin Multiplatform and TypeScript; scalable backends I also deploy, observe and keep running; LLMs put to work inside products and developer workflows. Consulting as technical lead and as an individual contributor who writes the code.
Putting AI into a product is a question about the system and a question about the person using it.
2021 – now · both channels
IT Teacher — Higher VET
I teach Higher VET programmes in web development, bioinformatics, cross-platform development and systems administration, supervise the final-year Project module, and lead innovation projects with research and healthcare institutions.
Teaching a stack to thirty people a year is the fastest way to find the parts of it you only thought you understood.
